ALICE

The ALert for Interplanetary Coronal mass Ejections (ALICE) tool provides an alert via email for the arrival of an ICME to various targets in the Heliosphere.

ALICE is a real-time implementation of the Probabilistic Drag Based Model (P-DBM) published here. More information about the P-DBM and its real-time implementation for Planetary Space Weather can be found here and here.
Signing up for ALICE, you will receive an email from alice.utov whenever a CME is detected in LASCO images.  There are separate mailing lists for the different targets. If you want to be added to one or more mailing lists, please write an email to spaceweather@roma2.infn.it with the targets of your interest. More targets will be added in the future (e.g.: new missions, etc.).
Current target list is:
  • Parker Solar Probe
  • Bepi Colombo
  • Mercury
  • Venus
  • Earth
  • Mars
  • Jupiter
  • Saturn
